511 days!

SW: 217 CW: 213 Today is my birthday!! I plan to get all of my steps in and water in. I feel like today will be the biggest struggle with keeping cal intake low. We are going to order sushi and have some drinks tonight. I’ll try to get as much extra cal burn in as I can beforehand.  I’m really happy that I’m making progress!  Todays going to be a good day!

513 days!

SW: 217lbs CW: 213.7 513 days! It feels like so many days, yet it’s really not. Time passes so quickly. That’s why I need to stay on track. Today is my husbands birthday. I’ve already gotten 15,000 steps in. He wants some beef rolls for dinner and I’ve bought him a cake that looks really good! I’m going to make sure that I portion my food well.  I’m hoping I don’t beat myself up too much if I slip. I also have my birthday coming up in just two days! It very well could be a struggle.  I’m 36oz away from reaching my water goal today. My water goal will lessen as I lose more weight. I’m trying to drink half my body weight in oz of water. I usually end up at 109oz right now.  I’ll update tomorrow!!

514 days!

Starting weight: 217lbs Current weight: 216.8lbs I did the math and to teach my goal in 514 days I’ll need to drop .2lbs a day. So though this feels like nothing, it’s something!!  Today I: ✔️Walked over 10,000 steps ✔️Tracked and stayed under my calorie count ✔️Drank 100oz of water I watched a movie with my husband and two older kids. I drank one zevia instead of wine or seltzers. It was a stressful day in some part. I fought with my husband three times over money. Instead of stress eating, I hid in my bathroom and took a hot shower. I enjoyed snuggling and playing with my kids. I rocked the twins to sleep.  I feel good about my progress today. 514 days to go!

515 days!

Welcome to the beginning of my journey! My blog is titled “515 days” because that is how long I have to lose 82lbs. It’s not a mandatory number but it’s a very serious goal. In 515 days I will be setting sail with my husband on the same cruise ship that we sailed on our honeymoon. We will be celebrating our 10 year anniversary one year early because I am graduating college in May 2023!! I returned to college in fall 2019 as a married mother of four. My children were aged 7, 4, and the twins were not even a year old. I was also working full time until Covid-19 happened. I worked at a restaurant, and continued to do so off and on until starting my part time job as a specials teacher in an early childhood school this year. The stress of two jobs, being a full time student, and having a family to raise was just too much. I gained 40 some pounds over the past couple of years. Especially these past six months, I haven’t exercised much because I feel like I’m stuck on my computer completing h...
